What is PRGF®?
Treatment with platelet-rich plasma enriched with growth factors. Before each PRGF session, it is necessary to clean the area to be treated, and to avoid the discomfort of small injections, an anesthetic cream or local cold is applied.
To obtain platelet-rich plasma enriched with growth factors, a small volume of blood is extracted from the patient and the plasma fractions are separated by controlled centrifugation. Next, the “platelet-rich plasma enriched with growth factors” is injected into the skin of the face, décolletage, neck, and back of the hands to stimulate its regeneration.
Afterward, we apply a mask in the form of a facial veil soaked in the patient’s own growth factors. Once the treatment is finished, normal activity can be resumed immediately.
After each session with platelet-rich plasma enriched with growth factors, for a few days, there is a slight swelling of the skin with a discrete lifting effect.
