In the upper eyelid, excess skin and fat are removed through a small incision hidden in the natural crease.
In the lower eyelid, it is generally performed through a transconjunctival approach, without a visible scar, and in some cases, excess skin is removed and the eyelid is tightened to improve its firmness.
In certain patients, a periorbital lipofilling may be associated, which consists of infiltrating small amounts of the patient’s own fat to soften depressions in the eye contour and provide a global and harmonious rejuvenation to the eyes.
